i love the glue society's approach to adds and projects they are given. I especially enjoy the videos they have made for the newzealand vodka 42 BELOW.

they are a “creative collective” based in Sydney and new york with a group of artist. Film directors, writers and designers.
started in 1998 the glue society is Gary Freedman Jonathan Kneebone Matt Devine, James Dive, Luke Crethar, Pete Baker, Paul Bruty and Jessica Goring.
They work with broadcast entertainment, commercials, music videos, print advertising, graphic design and books, installations and sculpture.

the swiss/International designer that created the 'design manual' would have to be one of my favourite designers from history. the fact that he brought in columns and grids, something i use a lot in my work. also the use of the 'rule of thirds'. i also like to work with simplicity so his work/idea of design.
